At 25 weeks, Kaia is a super star!!!
Kaia now has 2 teeth on the way in! She doesn't seemed too bothered by them but still loves anything cold in her mouth. She is so stylin' in all her cute outfits sent from the grandma's and her aunties. She also doesn't mind the sunglasses mom bought for her. She was a super big girl this past week when she got to hang out with Gwen and Brittany. Gwen is actually Carrie Bemis' little sister who has been backpacking through Europe and decided to make a stop here in Germany. They were both so sweet and we had such a good time with them.

Kaia - 24 weeks
At 24 weeks, Kaia is now:
1. making loud spitting sounds when she doesn't like something (see pic!!). When she doesn't like her baby food, when I tell her no, or when her baby einstein video is over she purses those lips together and makes the sound.
2. grabbing for sadie constantly
3. hugging and giving open mouth kisses! She wraps those arms around my neck and squeezes as hard as she can, it is so wonderful~
4. in a diaper (and that's it!!) when it is really hot (gotta love europe and no air conditioning)!
5. still loving her videos (she smiles and laugh all the time - see pics!!)
6. HAS A TOOTH!! We can see it! Her gums are no longer covering it and it is on its way out!! She always has her fingers in her mouth along the bottom row rubbing on it (see pics!!)

but she loves Sadie even more. She will stop whatever she is doing to stare at Sadie!!!!

Her personality is really starting to blossom. She has so many facial expressions. She LOVES her daddy so much. The pictures where she is not looking a the camera she is looking at her daddy!!!

Kaia 23 weeks
Lots of new things....and a big growth spurt!
Kaia is now:
1.Throwing (literally launching it) her binky across the room (or the car) if it is not attached. This week we have lost 4 already. She thinks it is hilarious.
2. Able to reach her bowls of food on her high chair tray. She grabs them if I'm not looking and throws them as well. I have cleaned up green beans, squash and applesauce off my kitchen floor, wall, cabinets, and dining room table. She also likes to grab the spoon out of her mouth which results in baby food squishing between her fingers...lovely!
3. LOVING her fruit strainer (see pics). I put frozen strawberries, blueberries and peaches in it and she goes to town on it. She gets it all over her face, clothes and the floor but don't even think about taking it away from her before she is done.
4. Sticking everything in her mouth. The list includes...her sandals, fingers, swing (see pics), stuffed animals, my hair, dad's flight suit patches, and anything else she can possible get her hands on.
5. Reaching for anything on the table and pulling it off....plates, forks, knives, glasses, etc. NO MORE sitting at the table in mom or dad's lap.
6. Constantly starring and laughing at Sadie. Sade brings her ball to her and she laughs. I throw the ball, sade chases it, she laughs. Sadie will come and put the ball right in Kaia's lap and she really laughs...it is too adorable!
7. LOVING her exersaucer. She is in full force with the saucer. She turns in circles, playing with every toy. She turns on the lights and music and of course, tries to stick everything on it in her mouth...she loves it!!

Kaia's chair...okay, Sadie's chair too!
Kaia loves her Big girl chair. She enjoys relaxing in it while watching her favorite Baby Einstein videos. She is getting better at sitting up in it on her own without having to lean to either side. She is also doing her newest "shy" face where she turns her head all the way to one side and then cuts her eyes back the other way. We all know she isn't shy so it's kind of cute!!
When Kaia isn't in her chair, Sadie is! She takes her treats in the chair and her ball. We have decided that Sadie definitely needs her own...it is the perfect size for her and she has taken it over!!

She's ready to go
Kaia liks to hang on to the ottoman and stand up on her own....Mommy is a little worried that things are happening a little too quickly!!!
