Wonderful Holiday Weekend!

The last 5 days have been WONDERFUL! Kristian had off from Wednesday to Sunday and we had such a good time! On Wednesday we went hiking at Red Rock! Kaia is really getting brave and more daring with her climbing (this is good and bad too!). Thursday we celebrated a low key Thanksgiving with just the four of us. Kristian is loving eating REAL solid foods now. He had his first mashed potatoes and enjoyed eating them and smearing them all over the plate :)
Friday, we actually braved the Black Friday crowds and headed to the mall to get some Christmas shopping done. The kids got to see Santa and we had a wonderful lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Kaia was literally OBSESSED with Santa (on the verge of a stalker)! She kept going back to peek at him and take pictures of him with her play camera. She cried when we had to leave him.
Saturday, Kristian and Kaia enjoyed a day out together. They shopped and had a nice lunch together.
Sunday was SPECTACULAR :) :) I was surprised with a day at the spa for our anniversary! It was so wonderful and so needed! I then came home to a sparkling clean house (no he did not hire a maid service). Later that night, Kristian and I had an amazing dinner at a romantic restaurant and recapped the past 7 years...where has the time gone???

G-pa comes to town

November fun

Just some cute moments...
Kaia is in FULL FLEDGED DIVA mode. She MUST wear a dress, jewelry, tiara, and heels EVERYDAY!
Kristian is crawling and getting into everything. He is REALLY wanting to have whatever Kaia has which has brought about some interesting moments :) but they are still really cute and lovable!

At 8 months...
4 teeth (he got the two dracula teeth on the top just in time for Halloween)

Halloween

We had such a fun evening with the Berklands! We enjoyed pumpkin carving, dinner, trick or treating, and of course our cute little kids (and the Yankees won!!)!! Kaia was a PRO this year at trick or treating! She kept saying, "Let's do another house mommy". She is still trying to figure out what happened to all her candy but she enjoyed the two pieces she got that night :)

Random fun

The kids have been so cute lately (aren't they always?) and I have had my camera nearby to catch some cute moments! Kaia LOVES to play with Kristian and he LOOOOOOOVES seeing, grabbing, playing with, and laughing at Kaia. He walks in his walker to the opening of her playroom and just watches her sing and dance. She pulls him in there with her, hands him a toy (usually a morocca) and they play together. It is really sweet. Now that he is sitting up, she spends a lot of time down on the floor with him, handing him things and making him laugh.



Kaia has all of a sudden really gotten into her baby dolls. She wants to dress them, change their diapers, feed them, rock them to sleep and love on them. We really tried to get her into this before Kristian came along but she wasn't ready. I have been having fun with her playing with her dollies! She is such a sweet little mommy!
