Kaia meets her cousin Sebastian

It was so nice to see Ole, Rebekka, Marcus and Sebastian yesterday. As they were driving through Germany they stopped and visited with us for the afternoon. Kaia had so much fun playing with Sebastian and we were happy we got to see them on their way to Norway.

Eating at the Thiele house is now an experience!!!!!

Kaia has learned that food can be fun, unfortunately for me. She laughs and gets her hands in it and bites the spoon and makes a big mess. It is really funny but what a MESS!!!!

Our biking trip along the Mosel

Besides our very sore butts this morning, our biking trip was so fun and beautiful!!! What an experience to bike along the Mosel River...we felt like kids again!!!!

Kaia - 32 weeks - Steph is here!!!!

Kaia is changing so much and is so much fun. She has two perfect little "cabbage patch doll" teeth (as described by Stephanie). She is such a big girl. She loves sitting in high chairs in restaurants and in the basket at the grocery store. She is very into watching me sign and I think she is right on the verge of signing a few things herself. She constantly looks at my hands and tries to mimick with her own hands (see pics). I am so excited for the day to come when she signs back...she definitely understands it, it is amazing to watch. For example, when I sign "food" she gets very excited and opens her mouth. When I sign "drink water" she reaches her hands out and grabs for her cup...she is so smart. She is on the verge of signing "come" since she loves watching and playing with Sadie so much and we constantly use that sign.
She adores her Oma and Opa and enjoys being at their house, going on walks with them and sitting on Opa's tractor. She is very loud (which we all know who she gets that from) and very vocal (umm hmm...same as above). She is an absolute doll and such a good baby!!!!

Kaia at 31 weeks - so so silly

Kaia is growing so fast. She still loves her Baby Einstein videos and doesn't like it when I interrupt them (see pic below - the one in her exersacuer with the very dirty look on her face!!!!). She is trying so hard to crawl and is about to take off!! She constantly laughs and smiles and sticks her tongue out..a habit I wish I could blame on her dad but since he's gone, I 'll have to take the blame.
