It never gets old...

Kaia LOVES to sing. She sings in the car, at the dinner table, in the tub, anywhere. Her favorite songs to sing are the Norwegian songs that Mormor and her daddy sing with her. Here she is singing a few of them. Notice the facial expressions too, pretty funny!!

Halloween Costumes Galore

Since Kaia is HUGE into playing dress-up she seems to be really enjoying all the Halloween festivities. We found her a nurse costume which she looks adorable in and then while going through Kristian's closet I found a flight suit that Mormor had bought for him. I took it out and it fit Kaia perfectly! She loved it. When we asked her which of her costumes she liked best, she said, "I wanna be daddy". So sweet!!

Kristian and I went to the squadron Halloween party and were a viking couple (honoring K's Norwegian roots). Kaia thought it was pretty funny and wanted her and Kristian to dress up too!

Baby K

Since he has been sitting up, he is ready to experience the world. Trying so hard to get to things that are out of reach!! He falls over A LOT and then tries to belly scoot to reach whatever it is he wants (usually something Kaia has moved away from him). Once he figures out how to get his knees underneath him I think he will be on the move!

In the walker
My furniture will never be the same. There are dings and scratches all over the place from him CRASHING into things. At least now he has figured out how to stop but most of time he thinks it is pretty funny just to ram things over. He also has figured out how to open my cabinets and the pantry. Really? I am going to have to baby proof before he can even crawl??
My favorite thing right now...he is clapping! It was hard catching it on video but he does it all the time and it is so cute!!

This was 6 weeks ago but he is still just as wiggly. One of our favorite things he does :)

This was obviously during Easter time but as you will see in the video we were potty training Kaia and really encouraging her to use the potty! No wonder she thinks her daddy is the funniest guy around!



Dying easter eggs! I can't believe how little she seems! 6 months makes a HUGE difference in a 2 year old!

One of my favs

Going through some old video and found this. Kaia seems so young and yet it was only 8 months ago! I love how much she was signing and how sweet she was the first time she met her brother. I realized after watching it how much she has changed as far as talking in complete sentences, etc. She was a baby then and is now a little girl!!

Trip to San Diego

Last weekend was the squadron trip to San Diego! Can't believe it has been a year since the last one!! We had a jam-packed weekend that was so much fun! We were also very happy to be back home and glad all our traveling is over for a while!!!

Kristian 7 months

Our little man is 7 months old already!! He is on the move in his walker crashing into things, running over our feet, he LOVES "talking" to Kaia, and he is still so cuddly and sweet! He is clapping now and will sit up on his own for a few minutes before rolling back to the floor. He loves to say "BA BA BA BA" VERY loudly and tries to mimic whatever Kaia is doing. He is still such a happy baby and makes us laugh and smile all the time!!!



I know this is Kristian's 7 month post but these were too sweet and cute of Kaia, so here they are!!!

Mormor comes to town

Mormor came to town to help with the kids while I was having fun with friends! Kaia had so much fun getting many "special treats" and singing and playing with Mormor.

Girls Weekend

This past weekend some old college friends came into town for a girls get-away! We had so much fun!! Here are just a few pics (more on others cameras to come!)

Fall is here!!!!!

About a week ago the temperature FINALLY dropped and it has been GORGEOUS outside! We have been taking many walks and visiting the parks now that it is so nice!!! The first day it was really cold in the morning for our walk so I bundled up the kids and they looked so cute I had to snap some shots :)

Karly comes to town

Karly and Chris came into town for a quick mini vacation and we were lucky enough to get to have dinner with them and spend a couple hours catching up!! Can't wait to see you guys again soon!!!
