Airshow 2008

Kaia had so much fun at the airshow. She loved seeing all the planes and the noise didn't bother her at all. She was definitely daddy's girl all day and only wanted to be with him. She still checks every few minutes to make sure her "airpane" tatoo is on her hand. Daddy taught her to say "viper" and after 100 attempts of her saying "diaper" she finally got it....too cute :)

Happy Halloween (Whew, that was a long week!)

After three parties, Halloween baking, Halloween themed story time, pumpkin carving, four debuts in the costume, trick or treating, and now a slight fever and runny nose for Kaia, Mommy is so happy November is here and all the Halloween fun is over :) :) :)

Trick or Treating

We took Kaia to 3 or 4 houses in the neighborhood so some of our neighbors could see her. They were so excited to hear her say "trick treat" and she also passed out many "please" and "thank yous". After arriving back home, Mommy let her have half a lolly pop and a few m&ms. She was in chocolate heaven and kept asking for "more cankee".







Halloween fun with Daddy
Kaia LOVES to be on Kristian's shoulders...mostly because Kristian jumps and bounces up and down (not to mention runs, skips, and does squats all while she is up there too) and Kaia holds on for dear life. It practically scares me to death which makes them both want to do it even more. Last night they were being super silly and I was able to catch some on film. I was shocked that the pics were not more blurry because they both were flying through the air while I was snapping photos. Makes me a basket case but it sure is cute!



From Monkey to Lady Bug
It is funny how symbolic this actually is. She has changed so much since last year. She is way more delicate with things and has blossomed into a little girl. She is still very active and loves to run, jump, and swing, and we still call her our little monkey but we also see a very sensitive, not so loud (most of the time), lovable little girl who still lights up a room with that big smile!!
