We got the chance to drive out to Westvleteren, a small farm town in Belgium, to visit the Saint Sixtus Abby where the #1 beer in the world is made by the monks. No one is allowed on the abby premises but across the street is a cafe where you can taste the beer. It was delicious (and very strong....I had to drive home)!! We were also able to buy a few six packs so Kristian was really happy!!!!
After we ate and visited the museum, we ran around outside...okay, we chased Kaia around. Kristian was on cloud nine the entire time we were there. It was a great day!
