Kaia - 14 Months

Kaia is so much fun these days. She is learning so much and surprising me everyday. She has decided that she likes sign language again so she picks up a new sign everyday. With that, comes her trying to say the words also. She says and signs, "light", "airplane", "duck", "dada" (usually when she says "airplane", "dada" follows) and "cup". She likes to say "YUCK", "HOT", and "DIRT" (really loud) also.

She still enjoys our daily walks and as you can see below, I bundle her up in her pram. She is very good until she loses sight of Sadie and then she hollars until Sadie runs out in front of the stroller and then she laughs and is fine. She also still has a GREAT "hairy eyeball" as her daddy calls it (it's that extremely dirty look she flashes from time to time)...see below.

I literally chase her all over the house now. She has gotten very fast and is always on the move, especially if she knows I am after her. She laughs hysterically then takes off running in the opposite direction.

We enjoy coloring, doing puzzles, dancing, building tupperware castles (and knocking them down), and tumbling on the floor together! We also do a tiny yoga workout together and she loves to copy me. She is very good at downward facing dog and child's pose. She also loves to walk over and lay on top of me while I am in certain positions....it is too cute!

We are STILL anxiously waiting for Kristian to return and we can't wait to be reunited again!
