At One Year, Kristian:
- is talking so much...he is saying: momma, dada, dog, book, more, mimi, papi (or papa), mil (for milk), yuck (my favorite), no no, bye bye, "yeah", and baby
- is still cruising around all the furniture and walking behind his push walker but not in a huge hurry to let go and walk without assistance (this makes me very happy although I want him to so he simply can be off the yucky floor).
- is eating almost anything we put in front of him
- is signing "all done" and that's it. He signs it very violently when he wants out of his chair or out of your arms to get down and play. I have come to terms with the fact that he isn't going to be a signing baby. He really just wants to say everything and skip the signing!!
- is dancing anytime he hears music
- loves to wrestle. When someone gets on the floor with him, he immediately thinks you are a giant jungle gym and climbs all over you
- loves the bath tub and loves to splash in the tub
- loves to swing with Kaia
- waves bye bye and almost has the blowing kisses down
- is very destructive tearing down any attempt at stacking blocks anyone tries
- loves books like his sis and sits still to read a few books every night (the sitting still thing is a BIG deal since he never wants to anymore)
- gives the best high fives and does it with force...lots of force :)
- is finally drinking from a cup after a whole month of throwing it as far as he could anytime I tried to give it to him
- has 6 teeth and is cutting FIVE MORE RIGHT NOW!!!!
- LOVES popsicles (yes I know it is early but with 6 ear infections and 5 teeth coming in, the popsicles make him happy!!)
- is still NOT sleeping through the night...I wish I could blame this on the ear infections but even when he was well the little booger got up at least once to see me!!
