Kaia - today at 22 months

Some of our favorite "Kaia moments"
Every time we cough, sneeze, hiccup, blow our nose, or burp, no matter where she is in the house, she shouts out "Yuck Mama (or Dada)". If she does it, she even says, "Yuck Kaia" (which sounds like "KaiKai).

She refers to the "ABCs" as "ABCDs"

She scolds/praises Sadie constantly with "No, no Sasee" or "Good girl Sasee"

She still tells on herself. If she starts to do something wrong, she says "No,no Kaia". Sure enough if we go find her, she is waiting for us to tell her no also.

She gets so excited on the way to the park and when she finally sees the park, she goes absolutely crazy in the car until we get out.

She laughs hysterically from time to time and we still can't figure out what is so funny. She gets so tickled that she can't stop laughing and then ends up with the hiccups!!!

She calls the empty, and very large fountain in our backyard a "potty". We laugh every time!

She loves opposites. She thinks it is a game. If we say, "front" she says "back"...we say "happy", she says "sad"...we say "full", she says "empty" (she also likes, straight/crooked, neat/messy, clean/dirty, in/out, cold/hot, many/few, night/day, wet/dry).

And my favorite...every day she runs into the baby's room, and shouts "baby room". She also kisses my belly and says "hi brother" (although anyone besides K and I wouldn't know that is what she is saying). Her favorite book right now, "I'm a Big Sister" :) :)
