Watch Out World

We were so happy to discover that Baby Thiele is a little boy! It was very apparent in the ultrasound today as we got many glimpses of his "privates" (that was mostly due to me constantly asking the doctor, "are you sure?"). I guess that month of no flying for Kristian helped us out in the "having a boy" department!! We are all very excited and can't wait to meet him!

Beware - the 3D ultrasound pics at 17 weeks are a bit scarry...there is hardly any fat on him at this point so it looks a little weird. To keep some surprises and not to scare everyone, I am not posting a face shot. In the pic below, he is face down in the placenta with his hands covering his eyes. He did turn and face the camera a couple times to say hello and then quickly went back to covering his face.
